Research Partners

The scientific policy of the University of Avignon is based on the development of academic and socio-economic partnerships, in particular with the INRA and the CNRS on the Agro&Sciences section and with the CNRS and the EHESS on the Culture, Heritage and Digital Societies section. These institutional partnerships were made concrete by the signature, on February 1st 2015, of a framework agreement associating the University of Avignon, the CNRS, the INRA and the EHESS, which commits the co-signatories to the priorities of the scientific project of the University of Avignon.

The University of Avignon is also involved, at the highest level, in various structures at the interface of research, training and industry: It sits on the boards of directors of the SATT Sud-Est, the national thematic incubator "Belle de Mai", the regional incubator "Impulse", the business incubator "Creativa", and the regional incubators "Belle de Mai" and "Impulse";companies, the "Terralia" and "PASS" competitiveness clusters, the "Cultural and Heritage Industries" cluster, the PRIMI cluster (creative industries and digital creation), and the ADEV development agency (economic development of the Vaucluse).

This active partnership policy has contributed to the dynamism of industrial partnerships, which have developed strongly in recent years and are one of the institution's priorities for the coming years.
