Communication, social networks

For all the latest news about the library, cultural events and new products:

The website

The University Library website allows :

  • to find out what's new in the library (homepage)
  • to consult the Facebook page and Doc'Infos, the newsletter
  • consult the library's computerised catalogue
  • search the electronic library: online databases, e-books and e-journals
  • access to the reader's area (extension of loans, reservations and purchase suggestions)
  • to make suggestions for acquisitions
  • make interlibrary loan requests
  • make requests for books, periodicals and DVDs via the document shuttle between the two libraries
  • remote printing

Ariane

Ariane, the library's search engine, gives you access to all of its physical and electronic collections.
In a single query, you can simultaneously query :

  • the library catalogue
  • most electronic resources to which the library subscribes
  • non-subscription electronic resources for extended research

The principle of operation is as follows:

  • a keyword search for documents located in the library and for full-text electronic resources,
  • facets or filters to refine the search,
  • widgets allowing to "bounce" to external databases

Documentary training

Within the framework of the Plan Réussite en licence, the library has set up a 12-hour teaching unit for all students, divided between Licence 1 (3 hours) and Licence 2 (9 hours). The library has also set up training courses in other licences.
The library also offers training courses for students: documentary workshops allow students to learn (in particular Zotero or documentary and information monitoring).
For doctoral students, it organises specialised training courses throughout the year, in partnership with the Maison de la Recherche and Urfist Méditerranée: "Discovering the BU" workshops, presentation of Open Access, sessions to organise one's visibility on the web.

UBIB

Since January 2016, the library has been a member of the UBIB network: some twenty university libraries are pooling their knowledge to answer any questions you may have about documentation or services (extension of loans, access to online resources, press reviews, etc.). Exchanges can be instantaneous via chat from 9 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday, it is also possible to use e-mail, with a response guaranteed within 48 working hours (go to the home page of the documentary portal or to ubib.fr).
