The University of Avignon welcomes several hundred foreign students each year. Various measures have been put in place to welcome and support them as best as possible: one-stop shop at the CROUS (help in finding accommodation, preparing applications for residence permits, practical information), language and methodological support courses.
A welcome programme for newly arrived foreign students is offered each year in September and in January-February (in the 2nd semester, for exchange students only) before the start of classes.

Foreign students fall into three categories:
1- You wish to prepare a degree at the University: see the section Non-exchange students to find out more about the registration formalities and the training offer.
2- You are registered in a foreign institution, partner of our university, and wish to study in Avignon as an exchange student (ERASMUS+, bilateral agreements, BCI ): see Exchange students. You will find the LIST OF COURSES IN ENGLISH HERE
3- You wish to follow a course in French as a Foreign Language at the Centre Universitaire d'Etudes Françaises d'Avignon (SDL) : see the section French courses.
